this guesthouse really exceeded my expectations! the renovated house from the late-1800s was stunning, with beautiful wooden floors and high ceilings. the staff was professional and friendly, making check-in seamless. the gardens were lovely, and the pool was a lifesaver during the hot summers in Makhanda. i also appreciated the convenient work stations in the rooms and the cozy lounge with a fireplace.
